West Indies Cricket team Zimbabwe Cricket team Put in to bat by West Indies skipper Brian Lara, Zimbabwe posted 202 for five after 50 overs in the Group D encounter at Jamaica on Monday.
Sean Williams, who remained unbeaten on 74, steered his side to a respectable total after the initial upheaval and he was well supported by Elton Chigumbura who finished at 30 not out. Zimbabwe started off disastrously as opener Friday Kasteni lasted only one delivery as Jerome Taylor struck to uproot him for a duck and give West Indies an early breakthrough.

Group D, Match 3, WI vs ZIM: West Indies seeks spot in Super Eight

West Indies Cricket team Zimbabwe Cricket team West Indies will look to seal a Super 8 spot when they take on lowly Zimbabwe in a Group D match at the Sabina Park here on Monday.
The hosts, after a resounding 54-run win over Pakistan that put the 1992 world champions under skids, should in all likelihood be too strong for the struggling African nation. Zimbabwe's strengths have not revolved around team spirit with only individual performances by Vusumuzi Sibanda and Stuart Matsikenyeri to show so far in the tournament. That they tied with World Cup debutant Ireland in their previous Group game is also a cause for worry. Zimbabwean captain Prosper Utseya will seek contributions from all the departments if his side is to make any impression against the West Indies but it is highly unlikely that any hands would be raised. West Indies (from): Brian Lara (Captain), Ian Bradshaw, Dwayne Bravo, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Corey Collymore, Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard, Daren Powell, Denesh Ramdin, Marlon Samuels, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Lendl Simmons, Devon Smith, Dwayne Smith, Jerome Taylor.
Zimbabwe Team (from): Prosper Utseya (Captain), Gary Brent, Justice Chibhabha, Elton Chigumbura, Keith Dabengwa, Terry Duffin, Anthony Ireland, Friday Kasteni, Stuart Matsikenyeri, Christopher Mpofu, Tawanda Mupariwa, Edward Rainsford, Vusimuzi Sibanda, Brendon Taylor, Sean Williams.
