West Indies vs Kenya Warm UP Match at Jamaica

WI vs KEN Warm-Up: Not an easy win for Windies

World Cup hosts West Indies beat minnows Kenya by 21 runs in Jamaica. Opener Chris Gayle made 75 and Jamaican local Marlon Samuels hit nine fours and two sixes in a 91-ball century before retiring as the home side posted 268-4. Collins Obuya made an impressive 54 not out but Kenya were unable to keep up with the run-rate and ended on 247-7.
Kenya were surprise semi-finalists at the last World Cup in 2003 and made their mark on the international stage when they beat West Indies in the competition in 1996. The Kenya coach and ex-West Indies star Roger Harper put his team through their paces with a three-hour net session on Sunday at the new Trelawny stadium which is set to hold its first competitive game.
